Talks & Walks

A talk is available to interested groups, entitled “Woburn Village – Past & Present” and is about the history of the village rather than Woburn Abbey and the Russell family, although these are touched on as they are so much a part of Woburn’s history. The talk takes place at the group’s own venue and lasts approximately one hour, it can be tailored to the meeting’s agenda.

Many groups then follow a talk with a Guided Walk around Woburn village, during which we show you interesting buildings and talk about their history. The walk usually lasts an hour but depending on the time of day, year and, of course,  the weather, it can be extended to take in more of the village.

There is a fee for the talk, we do not charge for the walk, but request donations at the end in The Heritage Centre.
